Kansas City Newborn Photographer {Layla’s Hospital Session}

Layla was for at Shawnee Mission Birth Center. Poor Miss Layla’s mommy tested positive for the flu when she was born. So Layla had to be in isolation in the nursery. We had to put on gloves, face mask, etc. to even be able to see her. So this made an interesting hospital or fresh 48 photo session. Normally, I like to incorporate the siblings and parents in some photos. But unfortunately this wasn’t possible. So I went with the flow. I captured Layla’s little room she stayed in her first few days. It had to be heart breaking for her mom to not be able to hold her right when she was born. So I’m so happy I could capture these for her momma.
